Great Ayton Health Centre

Great Ayton is a historic village with records of individual doctors working in the village dating back to the mid 18^th century. The practice is situated close to the main street with three partners and one salaried GP. We have diverse medical interests, from the occupational and sports medicine for a large football club teaching on the Northallerton GP Training Scheme and teaching consultation skills on a variety of courses for our Deanery.

Dr Peter Green

We are a small practice that works hard and has a lot of fun; we value a relaxed relationship with patients and enjoy learning as a team from our daily work.

We have an interesting mix of patients from isolated hill farmers living high up in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park (if you want a mental picture think Wuthering Heights) to a more local daily commuting population. We have been paper light for over 20 years with EMIS and now have two dedicated training consulting rooms.

Dr Peter Green is the partner responsible for GP training and also the Training Programme Director for the Northallerton VTS Scheme.
